そのレストランは大繁盛していて、いつも大勢の人で賑わっていた。ところが、近くにハイウェイが建設されると、客足はすっかり途絶えてしまった。そんなある日、不思議な人がレストランに来た。お金を持っていないその老人に、レストランの主人は気前良く食事を振舞った。お礼に折鶴を作って置いていき、老人は去ったが、その折鶴は大変に不思議な鶴であった。日本のお伽噺「鶴の恩返し」の現代版リメークのような話であるが、3Dのイラストが良くマッチしている。

Father’s Day

父の日の為に、ミセス・マドッフのクラスの生徒達は、自分の父親のことを文章とイラストにして、それをまとめた本を作った。父の日の前に、クラスメート達が自分の父親と一緒にクラスに来て一人ひとりがその特別な本をプレゼントされた。同じ制作者達によって’母の日’の絵本も出版されている。

Little Sap and Monsieur Rodin

A foreword and an author’s note give additional information about the history of Cambodia, Khmer dance, and Auguste Rodin.

Chirchir is Singing

The Legend of the Bluebonnet:An old tale of Texas

The lovely wild flowers, known by the name of bluebonnet, are the State flower of Texas. They cover the Texas hills in the springtime every year. This book is a retelling story of the Comanche People’s legend of how a little girl’s sacrifice brought the bluebonnet to Texas.
