異人種の両親を持つ双子の兄妹が、混血であるが故に個性ある自分を誇りに思う。日常的に子ども達が接する情景の中で、父と母の個性を受け継ぐ子どものたくましさが素晴らしい。再生紙を使用している為、色彩は華やかではないが、子ども達の生き生きとした表情から明るさと暖かさが溢れる。巻末には自分のことを記録するページもあり、混血の子について親子で議論する提案もされていて、制作者達の熱い思いが伝わってくる。
