Even if Bisa can’t attend, Clara knows that Carnaval parade will still be special. Costumed lovingly by their Bisa, everyone takes to the street for the annual parade. カーニバルの季節となり、Claraは家族と、特に曽祖母と、祝う最も大好きなこの祝日が待ち切れなかった。たとえBisa(ブラジルのポルトガル語で曽祖母を現す短縮語）がカーニバルに参加出来なくても、カーニバルはClaraにとって特別であった。Bisaに手伝ってもらった素敵な衣装で、皆が通りに出て恒例のパレードに参加した。しかし、鮮やかな色彩や、衣装や、音楽やダンスの中でも、何かが足りなかった、、、いや誰かかも知れない。Claraは、カーニバルの一行をBisaのところへ連れて行くことにした。＞＞＞巻末にこの絵本に記載されてるいくつかのブラジルのポルトガル語用語集あり。
