Sunday is Grandpa’s favorite day of the week.  That’s when his grandchildren come to visit. He loves teaching them how to draw, showing them how to catch fireflies in the yard, and celebrating Jewish holidays together.  They seem to think he’s remarkable, but he’s just a simple, ordinary man.

日曜日はグランドパーが、一週間のうちで最も好きな日である。孫たちが彼を訪ねてくれる日なのだ。グランドパーは心から楽しんで孫たちに、絵の描き方を教えてくれるし、庭でどのようにホタルを捕獲するか見せてくれるし、そして、ユダヤ教の祝日を一緒に祝う。孫たちはグランドパーを特別に素晴らしい人だと思っているが、彼は単に普通の一人の人間なのだ。
