Maria tries on her mother’s wedding ring while helping make tamales for a Christmas family get-together. Hours later, her panic ensues when she realizes the ring is missing. Mariaは、クリスマスの家族の集い用のタマリス作りを手伝いながら、母親の結婚指輪を内緒ではめてみた。数時間後に、その指輪が紛失していることに気ずき、Mariaはパニックに陥った。山のように沢山あるタマリスのどこかに指輪を見失ったかもしれない心配と、それを探し出すためにMariaといとこ達が準備してあったタマリスを全部食べる試みと、最後には家族の思いやりで完璧なクリスマスを迎えることが出来た素敵な物語である。
