Delilah D. likes to read many books and creates her imaginary world inspired by books. When a new babysitter, French girl Gigi, takes Delilah and her little brother to the library, Gigi parks herself at a computer. That’s a librarian who try to control Delilah’s unacceptable free minded behaviors in the library and to teach her to follow the rules of library.

主人公の少女Delilahは、本を良く読み発想が豊かであることが想像されるほど、お茶目で愉快。小さな弟と共にフランス人のベビーシッターがいるのだが、図書館でベビーシッターは自分のネット交信に夢中。図書館員が図書館のルールを守らせる為に、あの手この手でDelilahに対応するのだが、、、、自分の言葉と世界で生き生きとしているDelilahには根負けしそう。イラストの色彩は明るく柔らかく、活字の文字は感情を表すために太さやサイズが変化し躍動的にもなる。
