そのレストランは大繁盛していて、いつも大勢の人で賑わっていた。ところが、近くにハイウェイが建設されると、客足はすっかり途絶えてしまった。そんなある日、不思議な人がレストランに来た。お金を持っていないその老人に、レストランの主人は気前良く食事を振舞った。お礼に折鶴を作って置いていき、老人は去ったが、その折鶴は大変に不思議な鶴であった。日本のお伽噺「鶴の恩返し」の現代版リメークのような話であるが、３Dのイラストが良くマッチしている。
