Chirchir, a little girl, and her family are members of the Kalenjin tribe, who live in the western highland of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. Chirchir just wants to help her family, but she drops Mama’s water bucket, spills Kogo’s tea, and sends Baba’s potatoes tumbling down the hill. Finally she finds her best way of contributing to her family.

Chirchir少女と家族は、ケニアの西部高地に住んでいるカジェン部族に属している。彼女は家族の手伝いをしたかったのだが、母親の水汲みではバケツを落とし、祖母のお茶はこぼしてしまい、父親の収穫したジャガイモは坂を転がしてしまった。そしてとうとう、彼女なりの最高の方法で、家族に貢献出来ることに気ずいた。
