As winter comes to an end and spring arrives, Kelsey looks forward to maple syrup season. She helps her daddy tap the sugar maple trees in the woods on their farm. After the buckets are filled with sap, Kelsey works with family and friends to collect the buckets and pour the sap into a holding tank. Then they’re off to the sugarhouse to boil the sap until it becomes syrup. 冬が終わり春がやって来ると、Kelseyはメイプルシロップの季節が待ち遠しかった。農場にある林の中で、シュガー・メイプルの木をコツコツと叩き、木に穴をあけてバケツを設置して父を手伝った。樹液がそれぞれのバケツに一杯になると、Kelseyは家族や友達と共同で、樹液をタンクに集めた。そして皆で作業小屋に移動し、樹液がシロップになるまで煮立たせた。最初のシロップが瓶に入ると、さあ美味しい朝食でお祝いだ！朝食はパンケーキと、もちろん出来たばかりのメイプルシロップ！＞＞＞巻末に、メイプルシロップに関する情報がある。
