Historical story about Japanese immigrants in Hawaii, in early 20th century. Most of Japanese men want to get marry with a bride from Japan, therefore the arranged marriage by exchanging photo pictures each other is popular. One couple who meet through pictures struggle to establish their new lives together, besides hard working in the sugar plantation.
