New Orleans cookware salesclerk Georgia (Queen Latifah)  is a reserved ordinal woman in a small community, but with her big dream.  One day, she hits her head in the job site. After having examines, her doctor informs her that she has less than a month to live.  So Georgia jets off on her dream vacation to live life like there’s no tomorrow. Georgia shakes up a glamorous European resort spa while enthusiastically embracing a new look, new moves, and a new attitude.

ルイジアナの黒人コミュニティーに住んでいる 女性が、勤務先のデパートで頭をドアにぶつける事故にあった。そして検査の途中で、余命少ないことを宣告された。控えめな性格の彼女は、一人で色々な夢を暖めていたが、命のある内に実行しようと仕事を辞めて行動に移った。ヨーロッパの高級リゾート地にあるホテルに泊まり、有名シェフの料理を満喫。そして彼女の手に届かなかった世界に入り込みながら、人々に生きる価値を悟らしてゆく。たくましくもエレガントに変身してゆく女性をQueen Latifahが熱演している。笑いと共に感動を与えてくれる。
