In 1950s Cuba, a successful owner of nightclub faces to the crisis of socialistic revolution.  His family gathering dinner table becomes empty slowly, as his sons involve in the crisis one by one.  His business is shot down as the nightclubs is prohibited for people, so he and his wife ask their son, who is the last one at their family dinner table, to escape from their home country Cuba.   

1950年代のキューバで、成功をおさめていたナイトクラブの経営者が、社会主義改革の波に飲み込まれてゆく。家族揃って日曜日の夕食を共にしていたテーブルから、兄弟達の席が空白になってゆく。ナイトクラブの経営が禁じられ、最後に残った息子に、両親がキューバを出るように哀願する。家族の結束とその人にとっての国の存在は、誰にでも重なるのであろう。ニューヨークに渡って自分のキューバを再現させた主人公に、監督兼俳優のAndy Garciaの情熱がほとばしり出ている作品。
